Nell’ottica della continuità all’interno del programma eventi
improntato dalla Presidente Marta Lenzi Repetto e dal Comitato STRP,

dell’Ascona Film Festival.

Questa importante ed esclusiva rassegna internazionale si terrà ad
Ascona dal 26 al 28 febbraio 2015.

Synopsis

A young mortician learns that not even death can stand in the way of true love. A whimsical, gothic bedtime story filled with love, loss, taxidermy, Kung Fu, and biker werewolves.

Writer/Director’s Bio

Stephen W. Martin is an award-winning writer and director from St. John’s, Newfoundland. His first short film, “Dead Friends,” was the winner of the Crazy 8’s Film Festival in Vancouver, Canada and was awarded Best Short at the Sacramento Horror Film Festival. It went on to screen at over 40 film festivals around the world, receiving a Tabloid Witch Award and a Leo Award nomination. Stephen is also the author of “Pop Manga,” the #1 best-selling ‘how-to-draw’ book on Amazon.ca, published with Random House. His first children’s picture book, “Robot Smash,” published by Owlkids, will debut in April of 2015.

Producer’s Bio

Alexander Glua’s ongoing passion for filmmaking has been evident in his diverse film career that spans over 14 years. During this time he has contributed his experience to over 80 feature films and television series. The first two feature films he produced (Guido Superstar: The Rise of Guido, Toxin 3D) found audiences through foreign and domestic distribution by IndustryWorks Pictures. Alexander has also delved into the realm of short-form storytelling, having produced dozens of national TV spots primarily aimed at furthering the conversation on important cultural issues. He continues to broaden his range as a producer with the fantasy-infused action tale “Dead Hearts”.
